What kid grew up in the 70’s and didn’t ride their bike everywhere? At the early age of 10, my bike was my trusted means of transportation which allowed me to work two jobs: a paperboy for the Patriot Ledger and a caddy at the nearby golf club. This set a foundation of values which helped strengthen my character. Working at such a young age taught me how to communicate well with others and manage time, but most importantly it taught me the importance of hard work.
When it comes to work ethics, my mom and dad were the ones who continually instilled the importance of work. It wasn’t until I joined the customer service industry at a local formal wear shop in Canton that I learned the importance of customer service. I found great pride in servicing my customers and retaining customer respect for perpetual business. I think this is why over 90% of my business is from existing client referrals.
I received my BS in Finance from Babson College in 1991, which helped me land my first job in the financial industry at the Bank of Boston. It wasn’t long after that until I became a financial advisor at Commonwealth Financial Network, earning recognition for consistent professional achievement. Such recognition includes being named as a Five Star Wealth Manager* and being named a President's Club advisor for 2024, a distinction based on annual production that places myself among the top 10 percent of the advisors with Commonwealth.
When not working, you can find me golfing, skiing, or spending time in the Cape. I have 4 amazing children, with my youngest two still in college and my oldest two graduated. I’m blessed to have my second son, Kevin, following in my footsteps and entering the financial advising industry. My wonderful wife Kristen is a MD at Mass General, and still puts up with me after 30 years of counting down the days till Christmas…I begin on December 26th.
