I have more than 25 years of experience in the financial services field. I started my career at State Street Bank as a mutual fund accountant and then as a manager, where I performed mutual fund pricing and reporting and worked with the foreign exchange and options markets.
I launched my financial planning practice in 1994, earning my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification in 1996. I enjoy constructing investment portfolios designed to help clients pursue their financial goals. My financial planning practice focuses on retirement and education planning (both accumulation and distribution), income tax planning, risk management, and estate tax planning.
I attended Bentley University and Salem State College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance.

I grew up in Great Neck, New York. From a young age, I always knew that I wanted to be in a service industry helping others. At the age of 12, my father told me to read the Wall Street Journal and find something that interested me. I quickly realized that I wanted to invest in something that was familiar to me, so I invested in IBM, Heinz, and Snapple. Through these early investments, I learned how to track the market and how to build wealth. In high school, I even started saving into a Roth IRA with my part-time jobs.

I was born in Boston and grew up in Brookline with my younger sister until our parents decided to buy a home in Newton Highlands.
There was always open discussion about money because the situation required it, and we developed the belief that hard work mattered. One fond memory is shoveling snow and coming home after a winter storm having earned a few dollars. I saved and eventually bought my first big item, a GE black-and-white TV in an orange plastic case, which cost $84. Why is this important? Because it set the tone for a life of hard work, self-reliance, and sensitivity about the differences between people.
After receiving my bachelor’s degree in economics from UMass Amherst and taking a couple of trips to Europe with a backpack, I decided to apply for work in the largest garden center and greenhouse operation in the area. By age 25, I was chosen to open, staff, and manage a brand-new garden center in Morristown, New Jersey. I had hair, a dog, and was doing what I loved. Two years later, I transitioned into managing a growing clothing chain.
In 1994, I passed the CFP® exam and began working with a successful local financial planning firm. After almost 10 years and deciding to seek total independence, we decided to open our own practice creating comprehensive financial plans, and Wells Financial Partners was born. The last 15 years have been very rewarding.
I am proud to have been recognized as a Summit Club advisor for 2021—a distinction based on annual production that places me among the top 20 percent of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network®.
Each year, Commonwealth, the Registered Investment Adviser–broker/dealer that helps us process investment transactions on your behalf, recognizes Summit Club advisors by inviting them to an exclusive gathering of their peers, leading industry experts, and Commonwealth home office staff. Now you know a little about me. If you decide you’d like to contact my team and me, we’d like to get to know you. We look forward to it.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire and have lived in New England all my life.
However, I have a lot of family in Toronto, and I would often take trips up there to visit them and still do to this day. When I was younger, I would spend summers in Toronto. This showed me a city that was very multicultural. While every person comes from a different background, ultimately, everyone has similar dreams and goals. After graduating from an honors program from Southern New Hampshire University, I volunteered as part of a group of students to visit Beijing during the 2008 Olympics. This was a great experience to explore an entirely different culture and to enjoy the Olympic atmosphere.
I started my financial career at Lincoln Financial during the market downturn in 2008. I was fortunate enough to land a position in client service and trading operations while I obtained many of my industry registrations. Next, I joined Commonwealth Financial Network® and worked in their compliance department, conducting audits of independent financial advisors around the country. I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2014.
I joined Wells Financial Partners in 2016 to assist clients in building financial plans to achieve their dreams and goals.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially traveling and visiting local eateries. I play pick-up basketball whenever I can get in a game. I started playing golf in 2016 when a good friend suggested it and have been hooked since. My game has steadily improved over time, and I now consider myself an avid golfer. If you want to join me for a round, let me know!
What kid grew up in the 70’s and didn’t ride their bike everywhere? At the early age of 10, my bike was my trusted means of transportation which allowed me to work two jobs. A paperboy for the Patriot Ledger and a caddy at the nearby golf club. This set a foundation of values which helped strengthen my character. Working at such a young age taught me how to communicate well with others, manage time but most importantly it taught me the importance of hard work.
When it comes to work ethics, my mom and dad were the ones who continually instilled the importance of work. It wasn’t until I joined the customer service industry at a local formal wear shop in Canton, that I learn the importance of customer service. I found great pride in servicing my customers and retaining customer respect for perpetual business. I think this is why over 90% of my business is from existing client referrals.
My BS in Finance from Babson College in 1991 opened the doors for me into the financial industry at the Bank of Boston. It wasn’t long after that I became a financial advisor at Commonwealth Financial Network earning recognition for consistent professional achievement. Such recognition includes being named as a Five Star Wealth Manager* and being named as a member of Commonwealth’s top advisors recognizing my success based on a ranking of annual production among Commonwealth’s network of 1,800 financial advisors.
When not working, you can find me golfing or strolling around Canton in my “adult” means of transportation, my minivan. I have 4 amazing children, 3 of which are in College and one in high school. My wonderful wife, Kristen is a MD at Mass General and still puts up with me after 30 years of counting down the days till Christmas…I begin on December 26th
I recently moved back to Waltham, the town in which I was born and raised. My prior job allowed me to travel often, I’ve seen over 40 states and countless cities, but the Boston area is home, and I could never imagine living anywhere else. I am fortunate to share home with my wonderful girlfriend Lori who is a nurse, and two dogs, a Corgi named Blueberry and a Golden retriever named Coco (I would be more than happy to show you the hundreds of pictures I have of them!)
I grew up in a blue-collar, hard-working family. My mom and dad always worked incredibly hard to ensure I had what I needed; I like to think that work ethic rubbed off on me. I have worked for as long as I can remember. My dad was a truck driver for the Boston Globe which helped lead to my first job at 12 years old. Selling Newspapers in the cold in front of Dunkin Donuts at 5am every Sunday morning. It wasn’t a glamorous job, but it taught me so many valuable lessons about life and hard work.
I graduated Cum laude from Western New England University with majors in Finance and Economics in 2012. After graduating, I landed a Compliance job with a small broker dealer in Lynnfield, MA. A year later, I joined Nate Law at Commonwealth as an auditor on the Compliance team. Seven years on the job allowed me to observe and meet hundreds of Financial Advisors. Each advisor did things slightly different, but they all had one commonality, they wanted to help their clients achieve their financial goals. This is what led me to wanting to be a Financial Advisor, I want to try and help you achieve your financial goals and dreams!
When not working, you can find me on the golf course or playing with Blueberry and Coco on our daily dog park trips. Lori and I are foodies, we love trying new foods and restaurants. Shoot me an email and I can give you my top 5 places to eat, or better yet you can give me yours! Every year my college roommate and I take a trip to a new National Park, there is something magical about laying in a sleeping bag and looking up at the millions of stars. I would love any recommendations on food spots or National Parks to visit! I look forward to working with you!
Even though both my parents were from the Boston area, I was born in a suburb of Chicago. When I was five, my Mom said she missed Scituate terribly, and we returned home.
Two weeks after graduating from college, I began working at Putnam Investments as a shareholder services representative.
A few months into my tenure, I earned my FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations. I loved working in downtown Boston and taking advantage of all that it had to offer.
During this time, I met and married my husband, Dave, a native Nebraskan, making my life more complete. After renting for six years we bought our first home. Such an exciting time because shortly after, we were blessed with an addition to our family! Our beautiful son Alex was born in 2000.
Around his second birthday, Alex was diagnosed with Autism. I made the decision to leave Putnam to be with Alex at the critical juncture when he transitioned from early intervention services to a therapeutic preschool.
A few years after leaving Putnam, I decided to look for a part-time position in the financial services industry. A job listing for Wells Financial Partners seemed promising as they were looking for someone with financial services experience. I like to say they met my needs, and I met theirs – I can say this with a fair amount of confidence because 15 years and counting, here I am!
In my free time, I enjoy puzzles and board games of all kinds (I come from a long line of avid puzzle doers and game players), playing tennis, relaxing on my favorite Scituate beach, hunting for sea glass, going to concerts, listening to my husband strum his guitar and sing duets with my son, doing Zumba, and most of all, spending time with my dear family and friends.
With more than 35 years of experience, my entire career has been focused on client service and relationship management. I enjoy problem-solving and working with clients to satisfy their operational needs. As the firm's senior client service liaison, I look forward to talking with clients and helping them in any way I can.

I grew up in Rye Brook & Rye, New York both a small coastal and historical suburb outside of New York City. From a young age, I loved to work with people and got my start working at a local ice cream store in town at Longford’s Ice Cream. They are still making small batch ice cream and it’s been delicious since 1992. Connecting with people and helping them celebrate life’s little victories gave me great joy. I went on to graduate from Northeastern University with a concentration in Marketing & Sociology.
Upon graduating, I taught 5th grade at an inner-city Boston elementary school and enrolled in a Master’s in Education dual-degree program at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and obtained my degree in Elementary Education (1-6) and as a Reading Specialist (K-12). I worked for several years teaching in the Boston area. Then when my children were small, I took several years spending time enjoying many activities together partaking in museum trips, art & music class, and library story-time--to name a few.
In 2017, Brett had the need for a Marketing Specialist and I was up for the challenge! I enjoy organizing client events that include financial market updates, seminars for colleges/universities, and continuing education programs for clients and individuals interested in learning more about the financial planning process. In 2019, I took on the role of Client Service & Marketing Manager in assisting Brett with his day-to-day client service operations as well as client marketing events since I love connecting with other people and care about their families. I am a people-person!
During winter, I love spending time with my family skiing in Maine during the winter. In the spring and summer, we love to swim, hike, play golf and tennis together as well as visiting the Cape and biking trails. These are some of the summer traditions we look forward to when spending family time together. I also enjoy dancing, listening to music, and reading when I have some quiet time. Brett and I currently reside in Needham, Massachusetts with our two children and our Labrador Retriever, named Vonn (aka: the famous Olympic skiing champion--Lindsay Vonn). Vonn also loves the snow!
Executive Client Service Associate
I never thought I would live in the same town for almost 50 years. Having grown up with my parents and 3 brothers in a small knit community, it was hard to leave. I somehow managed to move my Somerville husband from the city life to the ‘burbs of Canton. Over the years, we have raised our 2 daughters in the town that I am proud to call home. We have been blessed to share weekends and vacations with our family including our 16 nieces and nephews who all live nearby. While we enjoy the cape most weekends in the summer months, we take many trips to Tuscaloosa AL to visit my oldest daughter at the University of Alabama, Roll Tide.
My financial career began at The Boston Company as a senior mutual fund accountant after graduating from Bentley University in 1993. After a few years of endless hours in the financial industry, I decided to take a break and move to the beach in Wilmington, NC. This of course was not a happy send off from my family and friends, but they often visited me to soak up the sunshine on the coast of Carolina. Although I enjoyed the southern lifestyle, I knew MA was my true home and I missed my family. Shortly after moving back home, I began working at Scudder Kemper Investments, Inc. as a Control Analyst assisting portfolio managers in evaluating companies to incorporate fair market valuation pricing.
In 2000, I got married, bought my first home and left the financial service industry to work for my brother Tom and my dad at a family owned Local #17 Sheet Metal Contractor. Over the next almost 20 years as the Controller/Treasurer, I learned a lot about the construction industry and developed many friendships with my coworkers and customers.
Full circle, I got back into the Financial Industry in 2019 to help assist my brother, John in my current role as a Client Service Associate. I take on a wide range of activities including daily contact with the clients to assist in opening new accounts, transferring accounts to new investments and providing smooth transitions for suitable opportunities. This is where I should be and where I plan to finish my career. I look forward to working with you!
Administrative and Marketing Specialist
I was born and raised in Norwood. Being influenced by my mother who was a pianist and music teacher in the Norwood public schools, I began playing the viola at age 9. I attended the Juilliard School and have been involved in the Boston musical community for many years performing as a violist in the Boston Ballet Orchestra, Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and the Boston Lyric Opera among others.
With the same work ethic and discipline, I have also held a real estate license for the past 14 years where I enjoyed working in marketing as well as guiding clients through the process of buying and selling homes.
I enter the world of finance with the same dedication and enthusiasm.
I reside in Medfield and totally enjoy time with my two children and husband. I am an avid reader and runner.
I look forward to helping our clients in any way I can.
